NitroLine

With high pressure to the finished part – NitroLine for optimum cut edges

This is NitroLine: Fusion cutting with nitrogen and a cutting gas pressure of max. 20 bar, which ensures that the molten material is quickly expelled downward. TRUMPF NitroLine is especially recommended when working with stainless steel and aluminum alloys.

Advantages of NitroLine:

  • Oxide-free cutting edges
  • No burring

NitroLine for high speeds
In NitroLine, the plasma that forms in the kerf is used selectively to attain higher speeds by changing the focus position. The plasma improves the introduction of laser power into the material, thereby enabling higher cutting speeds.
NitroLine is used in nitrogen high-pressure cutting of thick aluminum and stainless steel to achieve faster, i.e. more cost-efficient production.

Advantages of NitroLine:

  • Higher cutting speeds in large contours by up to 80 %
  • Saving cutting gas
