+ Punching process

Prior to processing, the sheet is loaded and clamped on the machine. A set of tools (the punch, stripper and die) is loaded into the punch head.

Through programmed commands, the sheet is positioned beneath the punch head by rapidly moving the coordinate guide and machine table. The tool punches through the material, producing a hole whose shape corresponds exactly to the external shape of the punch.

The punching operation is divided into 4 phases

  • Phase 1: Intending the sheet
  • Phase 2: Cutting
  • Phase 3: Fracturing
  • Phase 4: Ejecting the punching slug
